Sun-dried tomatoes can be used in many ways: as a complement to cold meats, sandwiches, pizza or savoury muffins, in bread dough, or as a condiment to enhance the flavour of all kinds of sauces. We can prepare red pesto with them, which, when addded to curd cheese and ricotta, makes a savoury spread. It can also be used as a filling for pasta.
